Welcome to BrownCoat Nation

Education Blog of the UIC EM and EM/IM Residency Programs

Welcome to BrownCoat Nation, the education blog from the UIC | EM Residency!

We have a very unique educational model at our training program: our residents rotate between four main hospitals, with two additional hospitals that serve as sites for additional electives.

We have five fellowships currently available.

One of the goals of the BrownCoat Nation blog is to produce regular educational material from our varied rotational sites, allowing our residents and anyone else with an interest in emergency medicine to immerse themselves in this rich learning environment.

We hope you enjoy our efforts …
